pi day, pi day, gotta get down on pi day

(This post got a little delayed, but better late than never, right?)

Pi Day is probably every nerd’s favorite holiday. Thus, being the nerds that we are, my AP Physics class decided to celebrate. We each baked (or bought, if you’re culinarily challenged like me) some type of pie for a big pi(e) party. It was probably the most unhealthy fun I’ve ever had in my life.

Warning: This post is image-heavy, especially with pictures of high-calorie and sugary foods. You will probably gain 20 pounds or get diabetes just by looking at it. (Photos under the cut)

There was quite a wide variety of pies. Some were store-bought:

Blueberry pie

Lemon crumb pie

Some were homemade:

Chocolate cream pie

Blueberry tart

Cookie pie (a.k.a. heart attack pie because it had 1.5 sticks of butter)

Pineapple coconut pie

Coconut pie

Banana cream pie

Apple pie

Egg tarts

Some were even savory instead of sweet:

Pizza "pi"

Regular ol' pizza (I'm allowed to say that because this is what I brought)

Shepard's pie

Chicken pot pie

Spinach artichoke dip with Tostitos scoops. (Because the chips are like mini pie crusts and the dip is like filling.)

Also, I’m not sure if this is something to be proud of, but I managed to try every single one of the above pies.

It probably wasn’t a smart idea.

But it was oh, so worth it.
